Collections of preserved specimens that document the identity of myself. Specimens made up of dried plants, seaweed, photographs of my children, drawings by my children within my own drawings and important newspaper imagery, mounted on archival paper, and affixed with a label providing descriptive data.

In every backdrop, there is a suspicion. In 2014 I have commenced my collection. This specific one makes me feel three is a sort of disaster creeping behind the idilic scenery while it makes us believe in the perfect view. Life operates in a similar manner.

I haven't been writing for a long time - for almost three months. I believe it is due to our move. My brain must have been processing this change. I mostly write in English - a rather natural phenomenon after living in the UK for over 13 years. I am giving myself some time to inhabit within our new territory of Slovakian countryside. The words now mostly come in photographs. Very enjoyable.
